What is Renting?

  • It's the funding that you need to get the investments for your company.
  • During the contract rental period, you pay a monthly income to GRENKE.
  • After the rental period (e.g. 36 months), you can purchase definitively the equipment.

Why should I make renting instead of buying?

  • You pay a fixed-value monthly income instead of the total invoice.
  • It´s deduced as a current expense (IRC).
  • VAT associated with 100% income is deducted.
  • It´s not accountable as passive amount.
  • You don't pay any fiscal stamp tax (in Portugal).
  • It doesn´t aggravate your responsibility risk.
  • No recognition of signatures in notary is required.
  • You can trigger purchase option and purchase definitively the equipment:
    • requires notice up to 3 months before the end of the contract
    • has a maximum value of 5% of the total contract
  • It gives you the ability to acquire more and better equipment and/or software.
  • Increases your company's productivity by making a better investment.

What requirements do I need to meet?

  • Your company's has to pass credit assessment by GRENKE.
  • Make legal credit insurance (mandatory) on approved renting:
  • can be carried out by GRENKE if the customer prefers,
  • annual insurance premium is a maximum of 1.8% of the total cost.
  • Digitally sign contract sent for renting formalization.

Renting approval can take a maximum of 3 to 5 business days except for delays unrelated to GRENKE or due to a delay on the customer responses.

How do I get a proposal from Renting GRENKE?

  • Select the product (e.g. QNAP) and the options (memory and disks) you want.
  • Click on ask_question.
  • Give the name and nipc of your company, corporate email and the contract´s desired duration (12M, 24M, 36M or 48M).
  • Wait for our contact with the renting proposal requested.
