  1. Physical installation of all purchased components on your device.
  2. Update and installation of QNAP’s latest firmware and security tools.
  3. Exhaustive server testing: ventilation, file system, memory, and disks (includes performance tests).
  4. Setting up event notifications to QNAP registration email.
  5. RAID Protection Setting (0.1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60, + hot spare, JBOD). (*)
  6. Storage Pool and Storage Volumes (Static, Thin) Configuration. (*)
  7. Qtier optimization configuration (Auto data transfer most commonly used between HDD and SSD disks). (*)
  8. Overprovisioning optimization configuration (Rapid increase for all SSD 2.5" disks, M.2 (SATAIII/PCIe NVMe). (*)
  9. my Qnap ID prepared at the end of the process with the registration of all information:
  • Invoice, Warranty period, P/N, S/N, firmware, login/password, Cloudkey.
  • Detailed technical specifications and Qnap score graph from your server.
  • Information to support the initial connection of QNAP and UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) equipment.
  • Access and use support information through your PC/Mac.

How to choose your Multifunctional Server?

(*) Default configuration: RAID5 protection (except QNAP's of only 2 disks=RAID1), a single storage pool, a single Thick volume to 80% of the available space to allow greater flexibility and space for snapshot storage. When SSD disks are also provided, Qtier or Cache features are always implemented with Overprovisioning of 10% to 20% for a more optimized performance.

You can change these settings with a simple email or in a written form along with the order placed. All uncommunicated changes at the time of the order will only be met by written agreement with Partnerplus, and may call into question with the delivery period commitment assumed.

All malfunctions should always be communicated to the email admin@partnerplus.pt as soon as they occur. In this way Partnerplus can evaluate its supplies quality and assist each customer in the warranty process. Partnerplus will only be responsible for the hardware and software settings provided to its customers, limit from which will be excluded from its responsibilities.

All services unrelated to the configuration provided and/or related to additional functionalities and components will be additionally charged for an amount written agreed prior to its execution between Partnerplus and the customer.

The additional provided support service (remote or in presence) to the one covered under the basic Partnerplus Advantage will always be additionally charged to our customers, being carried out only after a quote customer approval sent for this purpose.
